About the Environmental Defense Fund

The mission of the Environmental Defense Fund is dedicated to protecting the environmental rights of all people, including the right to clean air, clean water, healthy food and flourishing ecosystems. Guided by science, they work to create practical solutions that win lasting economic and social support because they are nonpartisan, cost-effective and fair.

We chose the Fund as the beneficiary of our donation program because their goal is to show how economic growth and a healthy planet can go hand in hand. Rather than engaging in confrontation, they prefer to sit down with other stakeholders, roll up our sleeves, and introduce change. This unique approach to promoting positive environmental change is most closely aligned with our own.
